How can I remove wheel gap without a harsh ride?

I hate the wheel gap on my stock I30, but I love the hybrid handling. The front has several more inches gap than the rear (maybe due to subs). I want to lower my car, eventually get 18's, and still retain the luxury/sport feel it has right now. I don't want the car to ride like my friend's Porsche, or the other friend's Buick. I know the lower profile tires will stiffen the ride, and tokico illuminas would be nice so I could adjust the ride. I am mostly apprehensive of the eibachs because of their stiffness. Are there any other softer lowering options? Adjustable height would also be great if that is an option.

Thanks for the info!

I have heard of cutting the stock springs down also. Is that recommended? If I went this route I would also add tokico illiminas. Thanks again.

Don't cut the springs. Get a set of Tein H-techs. Together with the Illuminas, it's a nice comfortable ride with about a 1.5" drop on the front.

Maxspeeds and Tokico HP's

1.4" front/1.3" rear ==> almost stock ride w/more aggressive stance
