Pretty much what this guy has said. USPS is a good gamble, and when you've lost something to them, don't expect it back. Even if you have insurance on it, you have to prove what was mailed was really the item that was lost. Tracking number would be your best bet, but it's still not going to do anything for you unless you have a friend in their business.ProudNissanFreak wrote:If he gave you a tracking number, they can only see what you see when you look it up. You're basically SOL with USPS. They lost textbooks twice, both worth $150, and over $5000 in medical supplies for my mom's company and failed to do s*** about it. USPS is utterly useless and has terrible customer service. Sorry to say it, the chances of you seeing that package again are slim to none.
You can file a report for a lost item so they can "keep looking for it" after 5 days of expected delivery date, but don't expect anything. f*** USPS.
I had insurance on my book with the ID number for it, but the d!ck supposedly couldn't find it in their system. I insured the books both times for $100, and they didn't pay up.Pento240sx wrote:For some people is good. But for the most is bad. Is time for someone to take care of these sons of a bishez. They didn't let him get the insurance because It was a perfume and will not cover perfumes.

I hear horror stories from USPS, they've been good to me though..
Without tracking or insurance, you're pretty much screwed, but that's true of UPS and FedEx too. Was the perfume sent from a company or from your Dad's home address?Pento240sx wrote:Once again Hello to all. Well this is the problem my dad sent me a perfume thru te USPS and I have not recieve it in about 2 1/2 weeks. I went to the post office to speak to one of the employees, to see if anything could be done, they said they could not do anything about the lost package neither did they give me any information about it. So I was wondering is there anyway I can get them to track my package or to see if they sent back the package to the adress they sent it from?
