Google. http://www.google.com.au/searc...meta=

You need an RB26dett crank and rods. Easiest thing is to use 4AGZE pistons. You also need to machine the underside of the block at the base of the cylinders to clear the rods.

Seriously, don't bother. It's not worth it when a stock rb25 will make more power everywhere than an rb24. You still have the crap small port, small valve rb20 head restricting you.

You can ask JDMSE-R he is building a RB24 this winter I think.

With lots and lots of money.

For example: R33 crank $300 Eagle rods $350 Custom JE piston $1050 ARP main studs $130

That's just what I've collected so far. I still need a custom head gasket, rb20 main bearings, rb26 rod bearings, and around $800-$1000 in machine work. If I had to pay someone to build this motor for me I would have gone RB26.

I think if you have a stock rb20 then it isnt worth it. But if you have a highly modified 20 then IMO it would be worth it. ive been looking at also doing this since i have a spare block laying around, but ive been waiting on someone on nico to do it so i know where they sourced out the parts.

Wrong, its more of a 2.25. The only way to make a true RB24 is to bore it out to 83mm. From all the research I've done, that extra mm of cylinder wall makes a big difference on how long the engine last. The "rb24" using the rb26 crank and 82mm pistons is not a true 2.4ltr it's more a 2.35ltr. Now, the benefit of using the rb25 crank over the rb26 is that you would be able to have more ring land for a stronger piston. I went with the rb26 crank for the lower rod ratio for more torque.
