I hate how my car feels really numb. The steering does not give much feedback and it just feels loose. I think that lowering the car may help a bit (which will be done this weekend)... but what else car I do to improve the steering? Any sugestions... prefereably cheap are welcome:)

JIC tension rods, tie rods, wider tires and remove the power steering.

What method do you plan to use to lower your car?

New strut bars, sway bars, Energy Suspension Bushing kit... the list goes on... Really I think the question you should as is "Hey I have X amount of money to spend and I want my steering to be better. What can I do?" It cost me $ 80.00 for the Hyperflex Kit from E/S and it got rid that loose feeling from when I first bought the car.

if you want the car to go exactly where you want i to then replace all your suspension arms, get as many chassis stiffening parts as you can, get good tires, lower the carif you do all that. your car will be very responsive

new tension rods, tie rod ends, even stock, will be an improvement. blown rear struts make steering on the highway terrible. alignment and tire pressure can also make a diffrence. lowering your ride you will want to pay attention to your camber setting, this will also effect your steering.

shocks and lowering springs do very little in improving the steering feel of the car. as does rear suspension upgrades.

if you want solid, in the brain, kind of response, here is the list of what i have:

- Moog tie rod ends (OEM heavy duty replacements with urethane instead of rubber insulator on the joints)- Moog tie rods (with urethane instead of rubber and steel insulator) - Moog ball joints (for s14 only)- Energy Suspension front lower arm bushings- spherical bearing T/C Rods- Nismo power brace- front strut tower bar

After these are done and you want to improve the steering even more, get suspension with solid upper mounts and better front sway bar.
