I've snipped the brown wire awhile back for the sleepy eye, but the passenger side's eye is always higher than the driver's side causing a lazy eye look. Any way to correct this?

could always manually adjust it by popping off the cone caps behind the headlight and spin it manually to the position you want

put a patch over the good one so that the lazy one will catch up to speed.

Yeah I know about the manual adjustment. I just don't want to pop the hood and do that every time I get in my car during the day since it always resets from driving at night.

And what is the patch???

The patch thing was sarcasm.. nevermind on that.

The easiest thing to do is manually adjust them to the correct angle so they match nice and are the way you want them go inside your car (hopefully you didnt just cut the brown wire and left it, but rather you used the search button on the forum to look up how to correctly make it so it has a switch to lock the headlight positions so that you can turn the lights on)BAM.just like this:1.Adjust2.Lock headlights in place3.Turn lights on 4. enjoy lit sleepy eyes (just remember you need them up to drive)

No matter what youll always have to re-adjust them but I'm working on changing mine to make the motors reach the sleepy position upon closing the headlights. so that sleepy(while perfectly even) is the new closed position rather than them closing all the way.

USE THE SEARCH BUTTON NEXT TIME (this has been answered 900k times)

one motor is faster than the other. gotta replace one or both with fresher ones, and they will go down and up in unison.

I tried that when I first bought my blue hatch, went to pick-your-parts and ended up buying 4 motors (planned to fix KAMO's pop-ups too) and I ended up testing one set, then the other, then mixing and matching and it never changed.maybe I just need new motors and not some off junked cars?

Just today i found out how to solve that problem. I hate having to pop open the hood too. Just pull up on the lazy eye light! It works no kidding. at first i was kidding myself but , , , it works , , , and no harm done!

Nice find! I just checked this out and it's less of a pain than to pop the hood although it resets back to the lazy eye. I'll use this until I invest in some new motors.

There is actually a way to adjust them without yanking on them........if your looing at the headlight on the side you'll see a threaded bar or somthin and there are nuts on the top and on the botton you turn the nuts and it moves the headlight up and down............tighten where you want it......and it's permanent
