How can I check the maf? what's the voltage? Because I'm having a hard time starting my maxima in the morning. thanks. 1995 nissan maxima automatic.

can anyone help. thanks

+12 volts into MAF yields a variable output based on grams per second of air flow............IDLE 1.0-1.40 [normally 1.1-1.2] volts output depending on rpm baro/temp etc. The graph is exponential thus +4.50 volts is max at extreme rpm and load.

Unfortunately cranking is not specified since air flow is so low until rpms build enough..........my guess is something above +0.5 volts at the terminal feeding ecu.

This is normally tested with the Consult diagnostic computer.
