110, you are a good man charlie brown. Your style is superior and you have done a great job, i love the extreme camber and wish I could see it in person. Good luck on the S14 and hope that once you get the kit ull put some pics of the 2 cars next to each other. Your woman will be very lucky to have the first SM S14...

P.S. The prolly have a good reason not to trust westerners, I witnessed the replication of a Wald lip kit for the Aristo being made in my area so.... im sure it would happen if the wrong person got it...

I also liked the whole VIP and drift style mixed, the FD in the Falken booth was sporting the same look..

Again, I loved your car. Wish I could have inspected it with more detail and some insight from the owner. Maybe next year...

I talked about this a while back...only to get flamed.

We've got a bunch of verts that are black (Greg's, Seth's, wirelessalpha's, and 110's...anyone I forgot sorry).

Imagine if there was a meet and all those verts were lined up (along with the other colored verts)...

Thanks again everyone for the nice comments! I am very happy that the car has gone over so well.

The car and I will be attending a few functions in the SoCal area before the end of the year. I hope to get to meet some of you out there. I will post the events as soon as I get details if you would like to see the car in person.

KA-Te; Yes, I clean the car myself. Black SUCKS!

110octane wrote:Yep. You guys nailed it. That is my car.

I am glad all of you that saw it enjoyed it. I was very nervous that surrounded by Ferrari's and Lexus' my car would not get any love. Boy was I happilly surprised! It seemed people were more interested in the vert than most of the cars in Falkens booth. Amazing!

I was bummed because I couldnt leave the hood up to show off the completed VQ35 install. We have been working very diligently over the past few weeks to get it done by the show but Falken Tire's booth theme was about clean auto luxury and hoods popped was not an option. I will try to post an engine bay shot once I return from Vegas.

AZHitman; I was at the Falken booth all week. I wish I could have meet you in person. To clear things up, the hood does fit. The back is raised for two reasons. 1.) The VQ engine is very tall in the rear by the fire wall. I clearanced the hood structure to aleviate this problem. 2.) The rear of the hood is raised because of the inherent temerature problems of the VQ engine. Cold air in, Hot air out! We learned a lot about the VQ during the build of the Falken Tire G35 drift machine. As far as you not being fond of the other stuff....to each his own I guess?! I am flattered that you took the time to pick the car apart that much.

topless94: What part of the interior looked incomplete to you? Just curious so that I can address it.

Don't worry guys....I still have the Enkei's.

Stay tuned...the car still isn't done. Simply ran out of time before the show!
hey 110, btw best vert/240 ever! whar are the specs on thoses wheels. thats the first ime ive ever seen somebody match up front and rear overfenders with a right width/offset to match. what r the specs on those chromies?im looking into having custom 15x10s all the way around. diamond racing wheels. i wanna do overfenders as well. and s14 front DAMN!

jrsink: Thanks for the props....Wheel fitment as follows;

AME Shallen CX - 3D chrome finish

Fr 30mm overfender = 18x9.5 +10 w/ 40mm spacerRr 50mm overfender = 18x10 - 16 w/ 10mm spacer

I was very limited to AME wheels sizing. The 10 inch -16 fitment is as aggresive as they go. And on the front in order to clear the 6 piston Rotora brakes I went with the +10 low disk. Obviously the stretch tire "hippari" and - camber are a result of this aggressive fitment. I LOVE THIS LOOK!

:edit: could you also take some time to snap some pics at high res, i would love to put this on my desktop!

TIMELSS_vert: The dash table is a right hand drive piece that I purchased from Creative Auto Interiors in Japan and DIY moded it ala Bob Vila. It took a few hours some drilling, biscuits, and wood glue. I am very pleased with the way it turned out. It is a very sturdy table and fills that 240 no cup holder void.

I will post some hi res stuff next week once I recieve the photography from the Max Power shoot. They got some great shots!

AZ or Eikon......or anybody computer savvy, how the hell do I post hi res stuff?

I'd give my right nut for a set of AME Shallens, they're my favorite design EVER.

I'd want them in a little less aggressive fitment, but they are my dream wheels.

110 - Hi-res stuff can be hosted elsewhere or we can host it up with links or thumbnails (otherwise, it takes up too much of the page).

If you want, we can put them as downloadable wallpapers on 240sxConvertible.com....

Thanks AZ! I'll hit you up when I get ready with the pics.

By the way, which Shallens do you like? All AME wheels are called Shallen. Let me know and may be able to help you acquire them if your interested?

Ahhhh, you'd be my new best friend.

I was looking at the CX's as well, in black, 18x9 and 18x10 (or 9.5).

I had contacted AME before but they didn't seem too interested in working with me... Then again, my 'vert wasn't "show-ready" at the time. Now it is.
