You guys nailed it. That is my car.
I am glad all of you that saw it enjoyed it. I was very nervous that surrounded by Ferrari's and Lexus' my car would not get any love. Boy was I happilly surprised! It seemed people were more interested in the vert than most of the cars in Falkens booth. Amazing!
I was bummed because I couldnt leave the hood up to show off the completed VQ35 install. We have been working very diligently over the past few weeks to get it done by the show but Falken Tire's booth theme was about clean auto luxury and hoods popped was not an option. I will try to post an engine bay shot once I return from Vegas.
AZHitman; I was at the Falken booth all week. I wish I could have meet you in person. To clear things up, the hood does fit. The back is raised for two reasons. 1.) The VQ engine is very tall in the rear by the fire wall. I clearanced the hood structure to aleviate this problem. 2.) The rear of the hood is raised because of the inherent temerature problems of the VQ engine. Cold air in, Hot air out! We learned a lot about the VQ during the build of the Falken Tire G35 drift machine. As far as you not being fond of the other stuff....to each his own I guess?! I am flattered that you took the time to pick the car apart that much.
topless94: What part of the interior looked incomplete to you? Just curious so that I can address it.
Don't worry guys....I still have the Enkei's.
Stay tuned...the car still isn't done. Simply ran out of time before the show!
