How big is big enough, sway bar question.

I would like to know what size swaybars to use on my s13 xe. I have found a HUGE set from Largus from Japan, they are 31.5mm front and 28mm rear. Is this too big? I want to grip drive, such as Auto-X. This is my daily driver, and like to have fun on occasion. I can appreciate some knowledgeable answers. What is an easy way to distinguish a drift set from a grip? I can only hope there is going to be someone who has had experiance with suspension setup, and will take the time.
