How bad is this tire combo?

My new-to-me 02 I35 Infiniti arrives with a pair of 225 Pirellis up front and 215 Goodyears out back. These used car places put together whatever combo will pass the Safety. I believe the placard recommends 215 width tires (17 inch wheels).

Should I feel confident in wearing these down for a while before replacing with a decent set? And when I do replace them, what with? (summer, I will get a separate set of snows for winter). any semi-consensus?

Its hard to say , i would get new tires to be safe man.
