hot import performance has really bad reviews. I haven't heard of anybody that has received a kit from the other two but I think a couple of people have purchased.

Boost designs posts a lot on http://www.240sxforums.com. These kits are relatively new and there isn't too much info on them.

Hot Import Performance is getting bad reviews for customer service, not for the quality of the kit as far as I know. People are having problems actually getting kits from them. Don't know anything about boostdesigns, but boostevolution seems pretty legit and the kit seems pretty good quality, although I don't know anyone who has ordered one yet. I've been talking with them through email, and they seem very knowledgable and professional.

i had very bad experiences with HIP. put a order in for stage two kit, turbo timer, and clutch. after blowing me off for a month and a half he sends me an intercooler with a hole in the top of the core, ssA manifold, 3 injector, feed/return lines, used BOV, turbo, and clutch. the clutch he sent me wasnt even made by ACT which he told me it was before buying. what i was missing: intake pipe, filter, z32 MAF, intercooler piping, couplers, fuel rail, emanage & accessories, fuel pump, 1 injector, downpipe, any gaskets/most hardware, turbo timer, and im probably forgeting alot of stuff. he told me the rest of the stuff was on the way but i figured he would blow me off for another month and a half with more excuses so i sent the stuff i recieved back to him. cancelled payment before he even sent the few things i recieved. i talked to a couple other guys that were having problems with him as well. i do not recommend buying from him.As, for boostevolution.com they look like a real good deal but a little suspicious. after looking at the phone # for HIP they both have the same area code so they are near each other and when HIP site was still up, site setup and pictures and products were very similar to boostevolution.com's. But boostevolution does give phone #s and business info which makes them more trustworthy. also in another thread someone who talked to the guy at boostevolution stated that HIP bought products from boostevolution so they allowed him to use the same pictures and such. anyways, i would like to trust boostevolution.com but i already made a huge mistake with HIP so im going to wait until there are some reviews/customers to give them a respectable reputation.

Anytime I order anything online I do the following

1) Ask how long before I can expect my order to be shipped. 2) If they say 3-4 days, then inform them that if I have not recievved an e-mail with tracking information within 7 days I will be canceling my order and will contest and charges (unless I am contacted with a reasonable explantion for the delay)3) Only deal with compaies that I get a phone number from and who will give me an address. 4) Never pay with a medium that does not allow you to contest charges. see Pay pall or Credit card. Never Money orders.

And the boostevolution stuff looks pretty good.

I have also been talking to boost evolution via email, and I would have to agree
