how are the foglights attatched to the bumper?

like the title says. my friend has an altima coupe and he hit something on the road and the right foglight popped out, which might be understandable, but we went and pushed the other one check it (and i mean barely touched it) and it fell out. and hes going to take it to the dealership, but just incase they say its because he hit something and wont cover it. i was wondering how they go in so i can fix it for him since hes not mechanically inclined lol.

i just dont understnad how they could fall out like that, i installed my foglights in my civic and theres no way it would come out, i even hit a retread on the road going 75mph and still didnt knock my fogs out so im thinking it was an installation error.

also wondering if there was a place i can properly introduce myself onto the forums and post pics of my car well whats left of it after the wreck lol

literally one scrw and a compression clip!..when it is placed into possition the bump shock absober holds it in place!...nicly made!...NOT
