how are altima fog lights suppose project?

i installed some foglights on my2.5 and it seem like they dont project really far. is it me or is that the way it should be?!

it is normal. I think mine OEM projects about 10-15 ft ahead...

fog lights are supposed to illuminate the road directly in front of the car....theyre not supposed to be a second set of headlights.

thats the thing i dont get about fog lights...wats the point of projecting directly in front of the bumper if that area isnt visible to begin with?..unless u get the super bright ones then u can actually use them like head lights

fog lights are supposed to be used in fog. they're reflected by "fog" and illuminate the road ahead of you without reflecting back in your face like regular headlights are. they're pointed down on purpose. most people use them for the looks though.

it's really hard to describe unless you've driven through heavy fog, especially at night time.

nah, the foglights are not hid. the regular bulbs

wow regular bulbs what kelvin and brand? cuz i got 8k bulbs and they arent at all blue like their supposed to be and it pissed me off. and ur 6k HID's look like 8k to me, cuz mine are 6k and they are super white without the blue tint look to them

not sure to be honest... i had them installed andi asked for yellow bulbs...

Mine projects out to the sides more, than to the front. But my HIDs light up the road ahead a lot, so I dont need the fogs to do it.



I never took one showing the ground, but thats the basic aim

yup, IMPORT is running aftermarkets...Opliux if I remember...bad memory.

The stock Fogs are aimed like the stock headlights, but the beam is right below the HDs.

wow your low beams look just like mine and i have 8k same with fogs they are pretty yellow (looks like 3k) that is why i asked if they were hids.
