Are you looking for a certian price range? Kuhmo's are generally regarded as a low-tier tire maker, and as such, their prices are much lower than that of a Pirelli, Michellin, Bridgestone...etc.

Also, are you looking for all season or summer tires?

Maybe their street tires are '2nd tier' but their R compounds are top notch. What Kumho were you looking at? What model?

Maybe you don't see the whole picture and you're jumping to conclusions.

Vivek wants inexpensive performance tires because he can't stop himself from finding "deals" on mods for his car and therefore can't save up $600+ for new tires. I suggested going with the 350Z tires as they are easy to find used and for a really good price. 70%+ tread for $200 is normal. The tires are very sticky and have nice handling characteristics due to the stiff sidewalls.

Both. The ones I mentioned to you last time you called were found on Ebay. I loved those tires on the I30.
