IMO,...I know that it would take me longer to do the install rather than paying a few $$ and having the experts do it. Aside from that, if you mess up, it's on you,. if they mess up, its on them. To me,..my time is worth more than the money I would pay to get it installed. Now I know there are a few folks out there that likes to do it and they get this sense of ownership of doing it themselves but I get that sense when I had to make the payments. Thank God I don't have that anymore

Well...the springs cost me about $215 shipped - however I have been quoted anywhere from $260 to $350 to have them installed at local shops, this does not include the $60+ for alignment a week later. If I could find someone to do it for $100-$150 like I have read others getting it done for on this forum, I would be all over it but sadly, it looks like I'm going to learn how suspension works next weekend.

IMO if you get a spring compressor tool buy a good one dont buy the cheap one I paid $12.99 for my spring compressor from Harbor Frieght and although they work it would have been nice to have the better one better built and safer

The springs on the A/C are relatively simple some of the easiest I've done so rest asured theres not much mess up on these.

Good Luck
