So, what if I could get stock Nissan Z OEM 18" wheels (348 miles on them) for $1300?

Then sell off my 16" Coupe stock wheels on ebay for hopefully $600-800? That would mean almost-new Z wheels for best-case $500.

Good deal? Yes? No? Should I ask the seller to come down in price on his OEM Z wheels?

there was someone from canada that did the 06 or better z wheels on their a/c and it looked good in my opinion, but you'll have a hell of a time selling 2.5 stockers for any price. good luck though

Hey, even if it's $200, that's something. Right?

Even the Stock 17's can't sell that much.

u should probably just hold on to the stock rims incase you bend or crack a rim for some reason. The stock rims are basically worth nothing and if you have to ship them then you are basically giving them away. Try listing them on craigslist and hope someone in you area wants them but don't get your hopes up.

stock Z wheels for 1300? that's pricey, look on craigstlist, i've found them for around 800ish. And no, you won't be able to sell your stock 16s for 800. I sold my 17s with tires and the tmps for 550.

you do realise you can buy stock z wheels and even g35 wheels all day on craigs list for anywhere between 350-800 bux with tires right? thats the 17s and 18s. I see them all the time when im looking for wheels on there, and yea you wont be able to sell those stock a/c wheels for anything mroe then 250 bux unless u find someone reallly hard up for a/c stocks with no idea about pricing. the whole z wheel on a/cs has been done alot it looks clean theres 4 down here in San Antonio, Tx.

you could try selling them to someone that has a stock altima sedan...at the aluminum wheels look much nicer than the steel ones with the hub caps... :-\

I actually did exactly what you're talking about.

I was able to sell my stock 17" with tires & about 800 miles for $650 on craigslist.

The Z wheels I bought were the Touring edition 5-spokes. I assume that's what you mean.

However, the offset is slightly different. And the staggered 8.5"/8" just felt a little weird. Plus the hassle of different tires for front and back. They came with Michelin Pilots, which don't do too well in the rain...

So I took 'em off and put on some TSW's with Yokohama Avid W4s. MUCH, MUCH better--better ride, better control, better feel.

Then I was able to sell the Z wheels & tires for $700. Had some curb rash on 'em.

Hope to keep this setup for a long, long time.
