Hey im pretty new to the 240sx scenario. i recently saw one in my paper. 95 240sx black. 5 speed. sun roof. leather seats. 70k miles. $4700.

is this a good deal? keep in mind im 17 and this will be ALL of my money plus my mom loaning me $1500. is this a good deal? should i get it? all i really plan to do is basic things like intake, exhaust, headers, stereo, lights maybe or somethin. nothin too big. with those mods will it be pretty fast? i dont want to engine swap or ne thing big like that. i am not nearly rich enough. dairy queen checks are buying this lol. well waht do u think? thnx

If that's your plan, then an S14 is perfect. And low 15's should be accessible with the 5 speed.

As someone who's been there before (and now!) don't buy a Camaro/Mustang or some other domestic sports car as your first. Insurance and repairs will eat ya alive. The S14 is just about as good as you will get and you will be very happy with it. I promise on my word as a Scotsman.

HA!!! couldn't tell the difference, could ya!

Make sure to check if it has a salvage title because that's really cheap.

yes it does sound like a really nice deal and 5 speeds are a pain to find.

The price seems right, but what is the condition of the car? Does it have all 4 wheels, is it completly painted? No stains in the drivers seat?

You may want to start with something cheaper. If you wipe all your money plus a loan from Mom, what are you going to use to maitain/egister/repair/insure/gas it? You might want think about a less expensive S13 instead of an S14.
