I have test driven Q40 and feel good. However, Since Q40 is a new model(or similar model as old G37), I am not sure about the reliability. Could any specialists here give me some suggestions about its reliability?
In addition, my home town rarely rains and all of my previous cars are 2WD. However, the prices for AWD and RWD in AutoPriceShare program are similar(only 1500 dollars difference). Should I choose the AWD version? Thanks in advance

The Q40 is the G37, nothing new about it, same car they have been making since 2009 with a few asethetic changes from 2009-2010. The nomenclature changed for Infiniti is the reason for the name change. Very reliable cars, bought one new in 2011. Yes the AWD should be your first choice.

Correct, it's pretty much a base-model G37 with a name change.
