Had these in an old baseball program. 39 mpg! But probably only 70 horsepower.

I can still remember taking delivery of my Green 1976 B-210! Had a lot of fun with that ride.

I too had a 1976 Green B210 sedan. Got totalled after two months by someone that pulled out in front of me from the Interstate median. I walked away with only bruised ribs from the seat belt.

My first car was a '76 Subaru DL sedan. Not terribly Datsun related, but it DID look almost EXACTLY like those 4-door sedans in the ads. So much so that even as a Subaru enthusiast, I couldn't tell the two apart.

My first Datsun was a 1970 510 Wagon. Bought it to move all my stuff from Tuscon to Syracuse. It finally gave up the ghost in 1977 with a bit more than 150k on it. I sold it in 1974 so I wasn't the owner when they had to put her down.

As with EV, my first car was a Subaru DL, but mine was a 1972. $1850 new off the lot, but so cheap that when I got rid of it after 72k I swore off Japanese cars for the next 30 years. Much happier now with my second Japanese (Mexican?) car!

I wonder how much the gas mileage would drop if you had to add all the weight in safety equipment and clean air stuff we are mandating now. Would they even come close to the mileage we're getting today?

When I was a kid, I built a model of a BRE (Brock Racing Enterprises) Datsun. Never owned or drove one. I've got more ads but they're not Datsuns.

Sweeeet, I loved my '77 Datsun B-210 hatchback, brown with cream interior. She was a beauty!! I bought her from a little, old lady in @ 1979 with very, low mileage. It was a California car and had special spark plugs, platinum I think- with a hot spark. It got great gas mileage, somewhere around 45 mpg in my inflated imagination. It ran like a top. Wish I had it now!! It was quirky looking, but unique, which made it really special!
