Anyone know any junkyards in houston that have a lot of nissan stuff... I moved down here recently and don't even know where to start. Can't find much by the way of phone book/switchboard.com or anything.

Sprint is my local company.. (i hate them ). I'll go ahead and try that, got my two days off and I need to find a hood, evaporator, and some other misc stuff... Just wondering if there were any specific places. I lived in Dallas before and they had a 'mazda-nissan heaven'. Searching around yielded nothing specific like that. =P

I know there are SEVERAL... Just trying to find out if anyone has any favorites, or if anyone knows where there are a lot of z31s. I think I've found a few to call in the morning. I just don't like wasting time going to JY after JY and finding nothing useful

Pick 'n' Pull's are worthless. You'll hardly find an import car in there. There're many junkyards around Houston. I think most of them located on Airline St. of I-45 North. From Downtown go to I-45 North, pass 610 then it'll be Airline exit. Make a Right on Airline and drive down about a couple miles. You'll see many junkyards. I don't know which one carry Nissan parts though. Best way is obtain a phone directory and call around before you actually go, it'll save a lot of time. Try the link below. Many Houston junkyards list their stuffs in http://www.car-part.com so it'd be good to try that link. I'm trying to locate a junkyard that has both a 97-01 Q45 and Z32 NA so I can compare the differentials myself but so far no luck.

Welcome to Houston first of all. I wish I knew more pick-a-parts around here, but I don't. I know of one place where the owner will work with you (bargain), e-mail me and I'll try to give you directions.

hint: Just in case you don't know, you can click on a member's name to find their profile. e-mail's usually there.

Sometimes that's just whatcha gotta do. Don't be surprised if they don't know their inventory off hand.

Welcome to Houston.

This site gives the location to our pick-a-part junkyards: http://www.houstonpickapart.com/houston.html

The last time I went a few months ago, I found a z31 and a few 240's at the pick-a-part on Northville. I'd say thats your best bet for cheap parts....

...but if you don't care to pick your part, and can shell out a few extra dollars, you can do a google search and call around. Most of the non pick-a-part junkyards keep an inventory of their cars, and if they don't have what you're looking for, they can most likely send you to someone who does.

Good luck.
