Also I am planning to attend school in San Antonio and the question remains for San Antonio also. If anyone has done a swap in any of these places talk to me.:help

If this is true, the hard part is done and the rest of the swap is a piece of cake with the right tools. BTW...they also have a pretty good reputation in the supra community so their engines should be top notch. I'm not sure if you know Sam from Carboy but they are actually swapping a SR20 into his car as we speak.

mike_do wrote:holy **** this is what CTC quoted me for a SR swap:
1) "$7400 for the entire swap including parts, labor, intercooler, downpipe, fuel pump, ac line, power steering line, welding flange on ic pipe."
2) "... and $3200 for the engine, ecu, transmission, harness."
could someone kinda explain this to me??? do all those parts lised above the i/c, down pipe, fuel pump, etc... not come w/ the engine or something? and what's the difference between the 2 quotes? cause 7400 is pretty far out of what i can afford...
