Well, today I went to the Houston Auto Show, There werent allot of cars like i thought there would be, well actually, there were about 150 new cars there. Anyways, I walked around and saw everything, but of course, since I just love Nissan like the rest of you folks, I went and checked out the the Nissan display, and I saw the sharpest looking Maxima, the new one that is coming out this year or next year, one of those, but I dont know the complete specs on it but it was amazing and I wanted one of them, of course, I went and saw the 350zs and sat down in one of them and loved it, and then it came to me, I looked over to the right and saw something that almost made me jiz on the spot, the new Nissan Quest, yup, out of all of the Nissans, it was the new Quest, it had it all, 2nd and 3rd row LCD screens that played DVDs, with remote, the guages were in the middle, with a DVD navigation system and with 149 cubic inches of storage. Also, somthing I thought was unique was the side moon roof that were on each side of the van, if there were any kind of van i would ever get, this would be it, it was that nice. Still n sign of the GT-R though
Of course I went around and saw some cars that I knew i would never see again like the Ferrari Enzo, it was so clean that it almost blinded me.
I saw the Lotus Elise that will be coming this year, of course, that car is not ment for speed but for handling because of the 50/50 weight distribution.
Went around to Honda and saw.......nothing new, except for the hardtop S2000. Saw the new Acura (Honda) NSX.
Saw the Saturn Sky which looked suprisingly nice for a Saturn, and also saw the 2 Buick concepts which looked very modern and sophisticated and not Grandpa-ish like the rest of the Buick line.
Saw the Pep Boys display which of course had all of there imports riced out by APC.
A shocker that came to me was how well the Suzuki Aerio looked, which was hooked up by Suzuki, It looked amazing, lowered all the way to the ground with a wide-body kit and riding on 18s.
I also went to Cadillac an saw the new XLR, which the base price is 70 and can go up to 80gs, one of the cool features tht it hd was that yu carry around a remote, like an alarm system remote, but when get about within ten feet from it, the car automatcally opens it self, without you pressing a button, and withouthaving the key in, you push a start button, or you can strt it from the remote.
Sadly, I have absolutely no pictures from the show, but next week, I will go with my brother, which was unable to go, and I will take along a camera and then upload the pics next time I go.
Also, I dont know if his thread should be in NICO general or here, oh well.
