Just bought about a week ago for a guy in Colorado and it has been running fine.. but today i was driving to the office and on the road all of a sudden i couldn't shift into any gear. so i pull off the side of the road and restart my car. i get it going in first but then when i try to make it go into second is just goes in but the car just revs.

I pulled into a parking lot with the power i had left and i check all the gears but none of them worked. i think it might be a problem with the transmission on the shaft. Now i finally decided to take this auto to the mechanic. Hopefully i'll find one in chicago, near our place. Anyone here who have been in one of Chicago auto repair shops? Of course im looking for the one that caters 240sx. Just send me the details just in case you have suggestion. Thanks in advance!

By the way here's my ride:

It looks like it is sitting next to every tool needed to fix this issue(possibly broken pressure plate). So do eet. It'll probably take most of a day. Also fly wheel may need resurface.

I'm fairly sure, but just to confirm, English is not your first language, is it? No matter, as was posted before, your best bet is a Nissan dealership. I'm sure these are plentiful in both Houston and Chicago. If you happen to make it back up to the Chicago area before your problem is fixed, and you'd prefer a more performance oriented shop, Sound Performance in Carol Stream and AMS in Addison are in that area. Both are extremely reputable tuning shops. I used to live in that are and and have visited both of them. Just to warn you though, they'll probably charge you more than the dealership would. Good luck.
