Which size bullseye housing are you guys running? Is the .7 too big on a rb25det?

Not too big, but it's also not dual scroll IIRC, and that's a big part of the performance spool wise of Holsets. Why are you looking at the BEP housings just curious?

I bought a holset hx35 because it was the best price I found for hx35 then I figured out it was 18.5 cm. Theres another guy on here with it and say it spools pretty decent. I just figured I could help out the spool with a smaller housing.

What kind of driving do you plan to do with it? I have never seen anybody first hand running the 18.5cm housing but if I had a chance to run it I would. My HX40 with the 19cm housing was pretty quick spooling. I'd be all about a HX35 with a slightly smaller housing if I was looking for better spool.

Which compressor do you have?

Not really sure about compressor size, I bought it early this year. I never had a turbo before that's bigger than a t25 but it's monster size

Count the number of blades on the impeller. 7 is much better than 8.

Not bad, it's just the 7 blade can make like 80-90 more hp supposedly just from better impeller design, with the same spool. What you got isn't bad by any means, just not the best. I'd still run it. Also, I'd look somewhere else for a smaller stock type housing instead of the BEP. You check goldfarb?

No never heard of goldfarb. I'll check it out once I get out of work. I don't mind lag just as long as I hit full boost before 4400rpm. I used to drive a Honda and vtec would kick in at about 4500rpm so hopefully it'll help out on gas mileage. I'm not looking for too much out of the turbo just about 400hp and something nice to cruise around. I just jb3 my 335i and hopefully my Nissan could beat or keep up with it.
