It went away. Seemed to be a contributor to some other things and the quasi-non female friendly environment (IMHO). You may have come here only to look at the hotties, but hopefully you'll stay to hang with all the cool NICO-nauts.

If I owned NICO:

There are a million ways to regulate stupidity. They couldve punished the parties involved, removed the stupid posts, even make it embarrasing to post stupidity.

But instead, some mod felt compelled to completely delete one of the most valuable things on this site.

And i am not talking about the pics. The jokes, the convo's, even the time spent. All gone. Just because someone cant handle a member.

that thread was not the MOST valuable thread on NICO.

it's not abotu handeling a member.. it was far greater than that... if you can't understand it, it just proves that the decision that was made to remove it was the correct one.

sometimes Admins/Mods have to do things for the good of entire NICO weather it be because of one person or the whole.

if you want p0rn and pics of hot women.. go to google.

guys, its just political correctness prescence in NICO.

next theyre gonne edit a merry christmas titled thread and rename it happy holidays.

i think when gniknave pulled out that card in the "Leghumping...READ IT" thread, they had to take it out. It would be hypocrytical if they didn't.

So what? It was just a thread with pics of women and random chit chat. If you want you can find pictures of women doing just about anything all over the internet. Not to mention that this happens to be NICO, a car forum. Granted its general chat but the whole car forum thing coupled with all the BS going on lately should keep you from being surprised that its gone. Such is life. Talk cars.

I'm very surprised they deleted the "hottest women thread," there was nothing wrong with it. Hell, i posted pics in it! (when the page #'s were in the single digits) But that cute (sarcasm) pic of the guy with a mullet smacking some white trash lady's *** is still up in the favorite pic thread, but hey that's kosher!

the reason it was deleted is because some of the members got out of line and it went on a tangent from there... after a thread gets that big it's really hard to control it or sift for the trash.. it's easier to just remove it completely.

NICO is an amazingly clean place compared to the other places I frequent.Dodgeintrepid.net has to be the filthiest automotive forum on earth (but I like it that way). I come here for info and go there for all the insanity. 7,800 guys with big sedans. No drift scene, no big sponsors, not much emphasis on motorsports. Its sort of a free-for-all, for now.

But I like NICO the way it is.

I believe that the thread may have been "offensive" to some girls, but nothing was keeping them from starting a "hottest guys" thread. I think that the title "hottest women" title would give adequate warning to any that might be offended by such content. I also think that most of the content in that thread was innocent, and nothing was found there that is dissimilar to that in many people's avatars and signature information.

I understand whey they felt they needed to close the thread, but I disagree. And I think it could have been locked, and not deleted, so that we would always have it in our archives. *sigh*
