Guys, I just got back from what turned into the hottest car show/ get together I've ever been to! The show was at a shop called Drag International in Davie, FL (close to Ft. Lauderdale). Here's a rundown of the sick stuff that showed up:

- 1000hp 2JZ powered SC300- 500hp JDM Soarer (No, really it was a straight RHD JDM car)- 900hp RB26-powered s13- 450hp untuned TWIN TURBO RB25-powered s14 (This is one of the prototypes AEM is using for its new engine management system and from what I saw and heard, they still haven't quite figured out the RB so wait for more R&D before you buy.) - 500hp RB25-powered s14- TWIN TURBO G35 coupe on 20x11 Volks. - 900hp 2JZ-powered GS300- 750hp T-76 turbo Toyota Cressida (Can't remember the engine code but it wasn't 7MGTE, 1jz or 2jz) Total sleeper! I couldn't even see the FMIC he hid it so well. - 900hp RB26-powered s14 with chromed everything under the hood.- A REAL 180sx (RHD JDM)- A REAL Integra Type R (RHD JDM)- 2 SR20VE-powered Sentra SE-R's and couple with SR20DETs swapped in.- 5 or 6 big turbo SR20DET s13's- Various 500-1000hp Supras. (Ho-hum given the other cars in attendance).- 2 500hp RX-7s.- Ready for this? A 1jz-powered Toyota T-100 pickup! It was a total sleeper and if he hadn't popped the hood I never would have guessed what he was packing!

Damn, it was like being in a p0rn shop. I swear I was sporting wood for most of the time I was there. Every 10 mins something absolutely ridiculous would roll in only to be surpassed by the next arrival. It was friggin ridiculous!

Check out their website at http://www.draginternational.com. They'll be posting pics of the meet in the next few days.

[/quote]that has nothing to do with AEM's R & D, thats on the owner of the car and the EMS. the EMS is designed only to work 100% on a stock enginea twin turbo Rb25 is nowhere near a stock engine, and should not be treated like one. dont blame AEM for a tuning error on the owners part/

i think he was sying more that it was beingused for development of the system for thi application... and that it wasn' quite working right. Depending on the application the generalized settings are going to be set differently depending on thevoltage rangeof individual sensors in each application. Thatis somethign AEM tries to get as best it can before releasing prodcts

Yes, that is what I was trying to say. Thank you. The guy that owns the twin turbo RB25 with the AEM EMS actually is an AEM distributor and tunes that system ALL DAY LONG for a living so I think that once he gets the bugs worked out it should be quite nice. They were twin GT30Rs if anyone was curious. I wasn't trying to disparage them in any way...I was just giving my honest opinion of how the car sounded at idle (it kept dying after running for a few moments) and how it drove.

Thanks for finding the pics! They only show about 1/3 of the cars that were on display. As you can see from the warehouse pic, they have TONS of SR, RB, VG, 2JZ, 1JZ, 3SGTE, K20, and B-series motors. They also have JDM lights, body parts, seats, used exhaust systems, etc. I can't vouch for the fairness of their prices but the engines all looked complete and clean.

BTW: I got my RB25-powered s13 running yesterday. HOLY **** THIS THING HAULS!
