Hotshot headers and inspection

I'm thinking about getting a hotshot header... The question is will a 240 pass a tailpipe smog test (no visual inspection) without the pre-cat?

damn i just asked this in the tech section and they said no headers will not pass.so will the hotshot headers pass smog in cali???i kno sum1 has to have em

Who else makes headers other than hotshot??

I looked @ the ARB site.. didnt see any E/Os for hotshot.. infact I didnt even find hotshot in there

Greddy makes headers that doesnt require the removal of the pre-cat but.... it cracks and heard bad things about them....

Pacesetter makes headers for s13 but not s14

OBX makes headers too... they are exactly like the hotshot headers (i think less quality...) it's also cheaper.

With my stock setup my HC level was pretty hard during inspection tho... but changed plugs,wires,cap/rotor so who knows... maybe I can pass it without the pre-cat....

Anyone else?
