Since the weather is getting hotter.. I can smell my radiator fluid burning while I stop at the traffic light. Is that normal?

I have an 08 Sedan and on rare occasions can smell 'fluid' In reality I don't think it is coolant but something else such as water draining from the windshield area, etc. I usually smell it right after stopping and sometimes if the road is a little rough. i had an older car that would do this and it turned out to be plugged drains, usually pine needles. In its case it was actually a problem beyound just smell as it would cause the defroster to fog up the windshield.

I have not notice any signs of a coolant spill.

Where you add coolant to the engine. But, since it's new you may be smelling windshield washer fluid or what Perry suggested.
