hot weather is now here and something is up with the car. : (

I did a auto to manual swap over the winter... drives nice and great no clutch problems... But now that hot weather is here.. I don't know why but now all the sudden I can just smell my clutch burning and yes I can drive clutch just fine and I don't ever really beat on my clutch at all. I just don't understand why when I'm driving in hot weather now I can smell my clutch just burning up and the other night when I could smell it my throw-bearing started making noises but then stopped. This is about every day now now that it's hot out I can smell clutch burning but i'm not hearing the throw-bearing noise anymore... When i drive the car at night after car is cooled off and when the night is cooler... I don't smell clutch at all.

so what is up?

its not slipping or anything? this happened to me a lot over summer and i found out it was the rear main seal. but in this case i dont think it applies to you.

you have new transmission fluid right?

no it doesnt' slip,, yes i have new fluid.. But i do have a leaking rear-main seal and front seal.
