Power Ranger SPD is so two years ago. You guys need to catch up with Japan. I didn't realize this till this weekend, but they have been doing "insert title here" Rangers since the mid 70's. Here in Japan, it Deka Ranger SPD. The SPD was for Special Police Deka Ranger. Then about late summer last year, it was MagiRanger. The group was a family of 3 brothers and 2 sisters fighting the evildoers. The father was the bad guy.

Now, they have some new one, but I haven't seen it yet. It started this past weekend. I need to watch it with my son, he loves it.

Your new series is Gougou Sentai Boukenger(Rumbling Squadron Boukenger) which they will bring over here as Power Rangers: Drive Force.

I normally only keep track of manga and Japanese albums cause fans like to put them on the internet for free, years before the U.S. gets them. But I found this stuff on Wikipedia along with this tidbit.
