well a week ago on wed night i saw my neighbor(again) park a car ive never seen be4, half stripped, with a group of friends in my gated community. well i thought this time i had about enough of this **** going on in my own backyard (DAMNIT I PAY TAXES!). So i call the cops and they came down to do an investigtion on the car. They grilled my neighbor and he confessed but he didnt roll on his friends. Well the cop put out an a.p.b. on any suspicious activity of selling illegal car parts. Next few days i find out that they got the other 6 ppl who were involved. Turns out tehy were selling the parts on ebay. one of the victims/owners saw his parts on ebay for sale so he notified the detective. The detective checked out teh ebay ad and he won the auction. when they met and when the suspect handed over the part thats when he showed his badge. Well that guy ratted on his other friends to get a reduction on his punishment. Well my neighbors parents are mad as hell, hes only 17 too! he got 1 mos in jail as we speak. and btw the car that was parked in my community parking was an integra gsr.

I don't know if you know this, but most car thiefs pick kids under 18 to steal cars for them because if they get caught, they have a lesser punishment. Anyways, very nice job! I have a deep hate for people who mess up, or steal someone else's car.

Damn, that sucks for the owners. My co-worker at Target had his '03 Civic SI stolen a month ago but the cops found it the next day abandoned on the side of the road.........minus the entire interior!!!

Insurace paid Honda $8700 to replace the interior, which I thought was nuts!! Oh, by the way, whenever I purchase small items from my Nissan parts department (brackets, blinker switch, ect) I notice that the prices are hella expensive. What gives? I bet if you purchased all of the parts individually to build a 240, it would come out to six figures!

Good work! we all thank you. Thats one less peice of crap person in the world. just a question though, how could a parent not notice stolen cars around and stuff? my parents would definitely notice if i had new cars around all the time

ty guys for the props but im sure any1 wouldve done the same :). i guess the parents didnt care enough that there was always a strange car in the lot thats infront of their house. its funny bc we live in a cul-de-sac and in teh middle of it theres a parking lot for 5 cars. funny how noone did anything about it even though you can clearly see what car doesnt belong there!(eg. car half stripped covered w/sheet) this was the 3rd car ive seen in there , and they always used my parking spot!!grr. I think i was just mad bc they took my spot again haha -btw the car was black

I wanna know how they can take the 03 civic si since the only thing they can do to start a car is get the key because the key triggers the ecu to start the car. WIthout it, ecu wouldn't work. FOr 8700 bucks for new interior, I bet you 90% is ins. fraud. Ask him how they stole his car or started up. They should be able to tell you since he got the car back. Damn thieves. I don't know who to believe anymore.

Boom!! Good point AznRide; I'll ask Tom (the guy that owns it) when I work again on Wednesday. If I had known that was the case, I would have asked him right away!

Pretty much anything with any organization these days, gangs, etc... use kids for the likely to be busted spots. I realized the f'd up truth of it all after meeting a guy who grew up in Watts. He did a murder for the Bloods at 13, and was out at 18.
