So when are these guys ever going to make a stop in Denver? Invesco Field would be the perfect place for the event. Every year they seem to go to the same cities. I'd like to eventually go to one, almost did...

I don't think it would be too much. I'd like to go to their event, never been to it. The market for them is big enough for its support. One of my co-workers is driving up to Seattle to attend HIN in August, just 'cause they aren't going to be here. There were other people online asking for them to be present in the Denver area. Hopefully they make a stop next summer '09 or even '10.

I don't see Denver, CO on there. Like I said earlier, when the heck is HIN going to stop by here for a change? 2010, 2011, 2012?

Some tidbits of information for you guys. A couple administrators, moderators including I from CONOC are working on a petition for Hot Import Nights to step foot into Denver for the first time. We had a success with NOPI drift in Denver in 2007 and other events related.

I don't have all the details yet but we're going to get plenty of signatures from local car enthusiast websites around Colorado to all participate and sign the petition online. We already have a growing car enthusiast crowd across the Rocky Mountain Region (CO, NM, WY, MT) and are informing them that we're contemplative. I feel the time is right for us to deserve the spotlight.

Once we get enough signatures on the petition, we'll contact the director or webmaster about the situation and they'll make a decision from there. When all things go through, expect HIN to hit Denver sometime within the next couple of years, earliest in summer 2012 (excluding the recession). It will happen.

Bump!

Here is the link for the Hot Import Nights Denver petition. The link doesn't work ATM, but should later on in a day or two. The more signatures, the better.
