My swap-shop did several of my vac hoses in red silicone.. So I went down to my local hardware store for some replacements hoses. While there I saw some nifty clear-reinforced hi-pressure plumbing hose.
I was wondering what material would be safe to use for a fuel line? I have seen these same hoses used as radiator overflow, so i'm not worried about them withstanding temperature..
No specific reason for the clear hose.. Seeing fuel flow would be kinda cool. ALL of my hoses are older and look like the could be replaced.. so i'm in the process of doing that.. I decided I dont want colored hoses, ricey IMO.. just thought clear would be different

Well, yes he was stating the obvious... but it's very important to use FUEL LINES for fuel. As long as the material is approved for delivery of petrolium products you should be good to go. But seriously, gasoline can break down some substances over time. I am not aware of any clear fuel line producers... but they might exist.
I wouldnt mess around with anything other than fuel hose. leaks are a serious thing, take it from someone who has seen their 240 burst into 8 foot high flames. Not cool.
