Sorry first hand to you guys at NICO for being such a noob at this question, I've searched around couple of forums to get some straight answer about this hose plugging after you remove the AIV from the 91~93 ka24de. It's been awhile since I removed the AIV but then I was wondering what you guys plugged the hoses up with. I have this ghetto setup with clamp/wooden plug on the bigger hose right now . The bigger hose meaning the one thats stuck to the metal pipe sticking out of the engine. So the question is what you guys plugged-up the bigger hose with? I've read somewhere about a dealership having a AIV-plug? or this dime/nickle trick which I'm not too sure about. Any answers on this would be great, thanks again.

acually, you can just use a pliers and clamp and roll the metal tube, although the 2 nickle trick works well from what ive seen. a search will bring that thread up.

Thanks guys, I'll try out the nickle trick if I can't get my hands on the plugs.
