Post

Hi everyone,

It is my first post on the forum and I am a complete beginner. I have been driving a 94' Z32 for a few years and for the last two years it has sometimes idled in the 1000rpm-2000rpm range. Since the problem was not constant, I did not worry too much about it. I remembered the the problem starting after Sears installed a new battery for me, but I just assumed these kind of things are normal for older cars. Recently, while tooling with my battery, I noticed a hose disconnected near my battery (probably from the Sears technician). Could anyone tell me where to reconnect the hose, what it does, and if it could be responsible for the issue?

Thanks in advance!

^^^ that. It will have nothing to do with your random high idling. Check your TPS and IACV/AAC connectors for that.
