I think it is forbidden so forgive me if I shouldn't, but found out (maybe too late) that Horsham Dev has half prices on all ECU upgrades for the S13 (CA18DET) until the end of the month.

It is a good deal that should be shared with the community. Hope anyone can take advantage of it.

based on what everyone says........... the euro tune vs a JDM tune is so insignificate in numbers because they are always tuned conservative that it isnt a huge deal of different.

most will take those base line "tune in a box" and then have it fine tuned on a dyno

They do make some quality stuff. I would jump on it if I had any need to. ECU chips are for sissies though.

I don't think the ECU's themselves are different just the stuff on the chip. Somebody modified mine and compared it to the JDM and said that the only difference he could really find was a slight change in the fuel map and of course the speed limit (240 here in Germany). Don't quote me on that though only going on somebody else's info.

From what I've heard though, they are basicaly interchangeable.

Horsham makes good stuff. Their chip should yeild you good power with pnp ease.

That's pretty much the idea. Just ordered my Stage 2 for $85.00 shipped to US. Thank god for a strong dollar.

I just want to remain on the rich side as I will be taking my T25G from 8.5psi to 14psi. I've read that anymore than that on this turbo would be an overkill, specially with my 370cc injectors.

Definitely with those injectors. The turbo can handle a bit more (16psi maybe?) but the injectors can't.

You're not figuring tuning time and expense into that price.

That chip is pnp and will yield pretty good power. You'll get maybe another 10whp from your Nistune setup.

Free tunes are hawt, just make sure they don't blow it up on the dyno. I had a guy who said he could tune my Haltech E6K on my newly rebuilt black top SR.

Needless to say he was no where near close and I had 4-5 foot fireballs coming from the back of my car. I paid 500 for a sh!te tune that was incomplete and no where near acceptable.

I took it back to the shop who originally installed it and they "pants dyno" tuned it and it ran great.

Moral of the story that is pretty unrelated to you: Just cause they have a dyno and say they can do it doesn't mean they can.

ps. i <3 dalaz
