I recently purchased a 2003, track model 350Z. I wanted to know what all the experienced "z" owners, and modifiers have done to cost-effectively give their z's more horsepower. I really love the car, but just a little more horsepower would make it great!

Anyone have any ideas how I could accomplish this? Any help would be great. Also, where can I get aftermarket parts from for great prices. Thanks.

Check out Turbo Kits.com Talk to Jesse or Grant and tell them that you heard from Eric Halbur that they had great stuff for good prices. They have helped me out so much it is sick. If you want to go with good horsepower I would go turbo. It sounds great and feels awsome. I went with the turbonetics kit because of the accucarcy and reputation that they have to give you the biggest bang for your buck and I am extremely happy. Smaller gains could be done with the cold air intake, Kinetix ssv intake manifold and some fuel upgrades. It is easier to buy a kit that has all the tunning done on it. If you go with more air obviously you need more fuel so to figure that out on your own could cost more in the long run.

make sure you read the above sticky...anyway, what are your goals/money limits/car uses? Answer those questions, and I'm sure people will chime it with ideas.

I have a 2003 Track model also and I'll suggest going the intake/exhaust/plenum spacer route... as for drivablilty and a little extra under the pedal that's the best bang for the buck.

I have a Nismo Intake and exhaust and am running the Esprit Plenum spacer (cheaper options available) and love it. The exhaust is one of the only that keeps the stock sound only with HP gains and a deeper tone. The Invidia Ti ehaust is also a great option...

Josh did you get any tune'n done after the air in/out mods?

We had a 350z w/ bolt ons at one of the local Dyno DayZ that put down less HP than a stock 350z?

BTW: you need to post up some pics of your Z here...zerothread/180845.
