Anyone else have any weird experiences with modifications by the previous owner?

WOW. I was thinking "ok, maybe its not THAT bad, at least it looks semi functional", and then I saw the mock rocket booster thingies.

:chuckle: Yeah, I've never seen another like it in my life.
It has been a mystery to me where somebody could even get their hands on such a spoiler.

^ Yes, that thing would be on my wall turned into a shelf or something. Did the boosters have LIGHTS in them? Looks like a red lens. Truly awesome in it's weirdness.

EDIT: Woo hoo! Post count = 240

 I honestly didn't even think of the ricer wife trade.
I may have missed the opportunity, but my buddy still has the spoiler, so maybe he'd be more interested!

Also the rocket booster type things did have lights in them, you may be able to see the wiring running down the stand in the picture...

Yeah, but, what if the ricer likes his women the way he likes his cars - too low to the ground, jacked up body work, dressed up in fugly colors, hard to look at, and a nasty sounding exhaust.

@ OP - It's like the wing you'd expect to find on a car in a Dr. Seuss book - "Darryl Does a Drift". AND the boosters light up? Hah! Be kinda funny if someone wired up the rockets to the brake lights. Guess that would make them brake boosters? Part of me wants to know where and how that thing was created, and part of me feels it's best if that remains a mystery.

:rotfl Ok, yeah that makes more sense. "Rice" takes on a variety of forms and comes in a variety of mentalities - some are more, or less, tolerable than others :chuckle:
