Alright so the story goes. I friend is about to pick this I30 up from a friend of ours, the ac compressor clutch is seized, and as you know its belt is in conjunction with the alternator. For temp sake does anyone know a belt size that can be run to bypass the compressor?

Thanks for any info.

ps. unsure of the year right now, but I do know it is the VG30 motor.

Maybe a VQ? Need to route a piece of twine and measure it to get the right size.

not a dumb question at all my friend!

i do...i had to do that ALLLLL SUMMER

lemme check...hold on...brb.

i used a 37.5" and got juuuust enough clearance...if you can find a 36.5" i'm sure it would work better!

i used a DAYCO Polly Cog part# 5060370 from pepboys.

ooooooooo wait his is a VG...hmmm use some twine or measuring "tape" and measrue it out roughly then get the fewest closest to what you need and it'll work.
