did the car overheat? If the temp was normal, I think it's unlikely that you blew the headgasket.

What sounds did you hear? Clunking? Rattling? Hissing? Grinding?

What are you going to do with the car?

Sorry to hear about your problem. If you don't work on cars, now is a good time to learn...it's a fun hobby plus it saves you a butt load in repair costs. I hope you get your ride back on the road soon...hopefully the damage isn't that bad. Keep us informed.

yes the car definetly overheated...and i heard rattling and almost like grinding...and then the car just shut down...and then i was leaking fluid....so it was definetly an overheat...plus i tried to restart it after it cooled down...and it was all locked up....im thinking about using this time to my advantage and dropping an SR20 in it...but i dont have the money yet...

My heart goes out to you dude. I've had a blown head gasket before and with the gasket and having to redo the head it was in the $100's and not $1000's range. Do you have a mechanic you can trust? If so tow it there and have him pull the head and see what the condition is. It might not be as bad as you think or it could be time to swap engines...

Good luck!

Damn....sorry to hear about that. Hope you can get it fixed soon, no fun without a car esp. a 240. Sounds like this is a good time to drop in a SR though So maybe the car taking a dump isnt a bad thing lol
