ok, my sister has a civic and it was up to me to teach her to drive. she pretty well had the hang of shifting except she would move the shifter side to side (i guess to make sure its out of gear) anyway.......another civic pulls up and she decides to race, she takes off goes into second ok.......goes into 3rd.....red lines......and back into 2nd......i don't know how, but i pushed the shifter out and she got mad cause i yelled at her.....so now i have to find the damage that i know occured, hope the head gasket is ok

The "horrible" part of that story is a nitwit newbie driver deciding to race.

Hope the head gasket is toast, if only to keep her stupid butt off the streets for a little longer.

On a side note, the car's probably fine. I abused a CRX and a Civic Si for years and you simply can't damage a stock Honda motor with a simple overrrev.

Useless post.

Not only does that have nothing to do with Nissans or Infinitis in any way, but you just admitted to having a substandard level of intelligence.

I gotta ask, why did you post this?

Nope, he's from the Midwest.

And props for teaching sis to drive. Now teach her that street racing is uncool, especially with no advanced driving skills.

Ok, well he's obviously flaunted the fact the he nor his sister shold be allowed on the road but that's to be expected these days...the part that got me was that he had a problem with her wiggling the shifter when it's in neutral. I've never known a manual-driving person to NOT do this.

Yup, I do that too (wiggle the shifter). Don't race and don't teach your sister to race on the street. There are alot of civics out there, if you try to race every one that comes up next to you you'll probably crash within a week...
