Horn Stop Working

Help. My wife's '97 QX4 horn suddenly stop working. The fuse checked okay. Can the horn itself go bad all of a sudden? It all started when I accidentally reversed polarity when I gooked up the loaner battery. Please help.

You jump started it backwards? I'm surprised only the horn doesn't work. That's the quickest way to fry all of the electronics / fuses. Did you check the relay?
