Horn not working...

My car horn isnt working anymore and i dont know why. I dont think its the fuse because when i press the horn i can hear the clicking at the fuse box. I opened the botom of the steering wheel and it looked fine, all the wires were connected properly, there werent any visible damage and everything look like it should, however the horn just doesnt work. What else could the problem be?

Probably dirty corroded connections or just a bad horn.

Check the horn first and see if it works when connected to the battery.

but you could have what I had. My 93 240 still had auto seatbelts in it. Somehow the auto seatbelt setup fried the harness behind the steering wheel in the dashboard over time so that the horn didn't work at all. At this point I had swapped in jdm belts. Someone caught it when I was getting my car inspected. Suprisingly that was the only thing that didn't work though.

Are you Lowered?
if you have an s14, if your lowered check the harness that runs under your DS wheel well.
the wires to the horn travel along those wires.

i ate through mine and my horn quit working as well.
along with a few other stuff...

Probably shouldve mentones, i have a 180sx. How do you take off the horn, i dont want to do anything without asking just incase i pop the airbag. Does the cover with the nissan logo come off easily?
