Horizontal Headlight Aim

I just put HIDs in the headlights and it seems like the driver side light is pointing towards the right too much... I DO NOT have the auto leveling feature.... and I believe the adjustments on the back of the light is only for the vertical aiming...
so do I need to take the light out and manually adjust for the horizontal positioning??

My drivers side headlight seems to be aiming way to the right..I do not have Self Leveling on my car.

I'll start off with "I am not an expert here", just offering my opinion. I've done the Morimoto HID upgrade to my headlights and it did not require any adjustment of the headlight aim. If you have the right bulbs, there is only one way that they can be installed correctly and if they are a high quality bulb, the right type and size, you should not have to correct aim. If I remember, the non-HID bulb is an H1 bulb and that is the only HID upgrade that you should use in your headlight. You are also correct, there is no auto-leveling on non HID systems. Before messing with your headlight aim, be sure you have the correct bulbs, correctly installed in the enclosure.

Hey ....

I too also have the Morimoto HID installed on my headlights which replaced my Halogen H1s. just wondering if the aim could of been thrown off from the install OR because going from H1 it had a different aim setting that is now different with the HID setup.

guess the main question is ....is it possible to adjust the horizontal positioning on the headlight....I know there is a vertical...
