The very center of the steering rack is cracked and seperated (obviously I need a new rack and pinion right?), the PS lines that run along the center of the rack(underneath or broken), the lower control arm is bet/crushed, the sway bar end link is all bent up and the sway bar might be as well, and I definetly need a new inner tie rod. -- It also looks like the steering rack is filled with cement or something. HAs anyone ever broken one like this?
My question is- is there a way to find out exactly what all the parts are called under there? I mean I know most of everything so I am talking about part numbers and/or teh name you would call something if you want to order it. I checked out everythign nissan and they seem to have good prices on their parts so I think I will be going there. Its really hard to tell everythign that I need cause I cant tell all of what is bent (won't even be sure even if the parts are off of the car). So what shoudl I do for the names and stuff? I will be ordering everything and trying to install it all shortly. DOes anyone have any advice or links to tutorials of the part number or part names of everything suspension realted on the 240?
Also if anyone can offer any help at all that woudl be cool. By help I mean any (not limited to) of the following: advice or steps on what to do to fix everything, where to find cheap parts, links or people you know that are parting out s14 suspension/steering stuff (have looked in ALL the 240sx forums i could find), or any similar experiences and what need replaced when hopping up a curb at 25mph
