before I go ahead and commit to the car I just wanted to see if there's anything I should know about the car? I'm looking into an 05' 350z pretty much just a base model, 6 spd, however it does have a couple nismo mods including cats., nismo exhaust, intake, clutch and flywheel. All dealer installed nismo parts with only 6K on the car still with factory warranty... well hopefully I will soon be a regular member of the boards...any input would be greatly appreciated...Thanks guys

Welcome to Nico! the only problem I have with the base model is the open diff, not a terrible thing if you plan on popping for a good CLSD, if you can find any of the higher tim packages they all come with the VLSD, not much better than open but saves you the drama of buying and installing an aftermarket unit

Just wanted to remind that Nissan updated the interior and exterioir on the 06 and up...that means Bi-xenon headlights LEd tail lights...I dont know what is your priority....but if you pay a little more, you can get a newer car..if you dont mind getting a base..I bet if you looked hard enough you can still find a new 06 base from a dealership in your area.....that will only cost you about $27K

I got an '07 Base with a bunch of dealer add ons (splash guards, sill plates, floor mats, etc) for 27K. So, yeah, bmike818 is right, the '06 and '07 are worth looking into if your budget will let you. I must say the new HR engine is quite a bit more powerful too!! It's just as fast as the '03 Mach 1 Mustang that I had for sure.

when was the car first sold? 05 or early 06...for a car with only 6000 miles for a 2 year old car....sounds too good to be treu...but then again it might be steal i guess if you read my previous posts that I always push for the new Z...if u have the money get the 07 you wont regret it...7,500 redline and a cool hood bulge

whatever you decide on... CONGRATULATIONS on your Z and drive happy!

This may help you decide. There is an ad on E-Bay for a new 2007 350Z (Base Model) with an MSRP of $29,005. Factory invoice of $27,147. The car is available in red, white, carbon or grey. It is a Nissian dealer in Morristown, New Jersey. Since we both live in Las Vegas let me tell you to count on about $1,500 to fly there and pick up the car. It is new. The dealer is advertising the car for $25,772. It has as options floor mats; splash guards; cargo convenience package; aluminum kick plate and trunk mat. Let me know what you think!

20K is a wonderful deal on the car you're looking at. I say pick it up.

a little FYI on your warranty:

I any of those parts are R-tune Nismo, they're not under warranty. If anything goes wrong with your engine or suspension that has anything to do with these parts, it will not be covered. Only S-tune Nismo components are covered for up to 3 years/36,000 miles.
