Well yesterday I called around all LA area to find a S with 6 speed Power pkg. and ABS. Nobody had a standard and the only one I did find didn't have ABS. I finally found the exact one I wanted in super black, just the color I wanted! I went down there after work today and they informed me that they just sold it 30 minutes earlier. Lie or not, they worked to get me a great deal into the SL with CVT which I was really hoping for the standard, but I guess it is alright. What do you guys think, should I get a standard transmission or go and pick up that CVT tomorrow?

I wanted a six speed in the worst way. Test drove one and liked it. Went back a week later and they had sold it. Just for giggles I test drove the SL with CVT. Bought it that day. Great transmission and no regrets for not getting the six speed.

I was in a similar situation and decided to get the CVT. Its worth it! I like it and the SL is great for the price. Enjoy and post some pics.

wow I like the replies that I recieved, thanks a lot for the extra lil help guys. Yea the SL seems like it is quite the lil difference. They tinted the windows, but told me they are not gonna charge me for them, besides the standard features that come with the car (SL, CVT, ABS, and their dreaded mats and splash gaurds) that is the only extra but I told them this is what I have to work with either you can get the price low enough or you can't. So we will see the final deal today and will post pics tomorrow in the day, because I will not have the car until after dark since I have to work today

Well I finally got it on the 9th! So I got some pics snapped and here they are











I ended up getting the SL with ABS and CVT and splash guards, they threw in the window tint for free which made me real happy. Paid for the extended warranty with an added alarm.

How much did they charge you for the (standard on all SL trim levels) alarm system?

ughh I think it was about 2400 or so for the extended warranty and alarm with 2 years of oil changes.
