since I put on my aftermarket exhaust, I have noticed that when the transmission is in neutral, like when you start it, and release the clutch pedal, the revs have been dropping. I figured it was electronic, until I had the back up on stands and had to start the car. When I let out the clutch pedal, the wheels started turning!! Any ideas??? Thanks in advance! Its an RB25Det in an S13

Hahah, sounds like the problem I HAVE.

My transmission was eternally stuck in third gear on my RB25DET, but i was sent some kind of other transmission. I think its an RB25DE transmission. I pulled my motor and transmission out of the car. Im getting a new transmission.

I pulled the transmission apart and moved the gear slides and its seized in any other gear except for the third neutral fourth position, all of which is third gear.

To me you might want to try just replacing the slave and master cylinder. its a cake walk.

they spin just ever so slightly. not enough to move the car, and just when the wheels have NO load. you can stop them with your hand. I was thinking maybe the T/O bearing might be bad, or something.
