Hop up racing?

ive been searching for a place to buy some 5Zigen FN01R-C wheels and came accross that Hop Up Racing site. they have $164 per 17x8 wheel which seems to be the best price i could find. they seem to have a very large inventory and i wanted to kno if anyone has bought anything from them or know anyone who has. i tried calling once on friday and once just a few mins ago but got the answering machine, but i didnt leave a message cuz i didnt kno when i would be home to recieve their call back. i just wanted to kno if anyone has heard of them and whether they are a reputable business before i make a large purchase from them. thanx.

nobody? well, what kind of questions should i ask them when they finally pick up the phone to make sure they are a legit business?

I plan on getting these soon, and hopup does seem to have great prices. I might order from them as well, let me know if you do buss with them and how it goes.

i called them earlier this evening and they picked up. i talked with them and asked a few questions about their business. i asked how long they had been in business: 7 months. i talk with him a little bit about their return policy which seemd to be ok, after reading their policies it says you have 4 days after the product is received to cantact them with any problems in the product and after that, i believe you have to pay a 25% restocking fee. he also mentioned that they sponsor a few forums, one was dsmtuners.com and i dont remember the others. shipping was about $65 from cali to pennsylvania for all 4 wheels. they seem to be a serious business but they are in their first year so they're not really established yet. if i cant find any better prices ill prolly buy from them.

thanks, i just sent them a email requesting the wheel i'm looking for. it says it may take 2-3 days for the email to be returned, how long did it take for them to return your emails? im kinda in a hurry to get these things ordered

discount tire quoted me $217 per wheel vs. $164 from hop up racing. after i added shipping, tires, mounting/ balancing, i came up with a price that it would be about $100 cheaper if i used hop up racing. so now im not sure. either save $100 and go with a less reputable store or pay the extra $ to buy from a well known store.

yeah iwas looking at their 5zigen border3 catback and they have it for 387!! thats the best price ive seen it. let us know how it goes with hopup, cuz i want that exhaust

i just ordered the 5zigen border3 catback from them. 427 shipped!! taht was the cheapest ive seen it. they seemed to have there stuff together, very helpful cust service. so far so good

yea, i emailed them over the weekend asking for the tracking number and it turns out they just shipped the rims this morning. they did quote me they should arrive at my house tomarrow or wednsday but i can understand because of the long holiday weekend. i just hope i get them this week.

turn out they didnt have my border3 in stock and wont have more in for two weeks.....i told them to refund my money. goddamit. very good customer service tho, they actually CALLED ME wow!

yea service is pretty good. they made sure to call me up shortly after i ordered from them to confirm the lug pattern. they gave me a tracking # and my wheels are sceduled to arrive next tuesday.
