Waiting on new clutch.

Thanks to Marco Vargas at http://www.sr20store.com for sending me a nice motor for a fair price.

Actually I think it this one......Its called a Nagisa Copper carbon Clutch. What do you all think? The pressure plate does have anodized blue parts on it although you cant see them in the pictures.

Looks alot like the pressure plate that came with my Nismo Coppermix clutch. If so then it's rated slightly over stock (~ 280 lb. ft. maybe?) with a sprung clutch.

The disc that came with my Nismo had no springs and was obviously a copper compound disc.

It worked well, and pretty much any better than stock clutch should hold a stock turbo easily.

Ok. Drift factory sells that clutch for about 420.00 dollars. Is there any reason for that? Since it's not that much better than stock why would the price be so high?

It's Nismo... they have always carried high pricing compared to the aftermarket.

Then I assume the same principle applies to the Nagisa clutch which is what I have here.

Nismo, Cusco, Nagisa, and a million others sold that same clutch. The clutch disc should be made by Valeo who is who makes the OEM clutches for Nissan since the late 90s.
