hooking up the temp gauge in sr20

ok, nother question......i have been trying to get my temp gauge to work for some time now and the stock sensor just does not work.....could anyone tell me why this is and what i need to do??

what year 240 is it?

should have carlified sorry.....its a 95 s14 with a redtop sr20, stock t25

I ran into this problem but vice versa. 98 SR into 93. What you need to do is get the gauge temp sender from your KA and replace it with your SR gauge temp sender. S13 and S14 uses different signals.
